    If you’d like to stop by, we recommend calling in advance or placing an order online and selecting a pickup time. All pickups are by appointment only so we can ensure someone is available and ready to assist you.

Sourcing & processing

  • All Golden Nibbles treats are processed by us, in-house, at our facility in Manassas, Virginia. We personally source our protein ingredients and make every treat ourselves from start to finish.

  • For select specialty items where quality matters most, we source globally. This includes New Zealand green-lipped mussels from New Zealand and wild-caught sardines from Portugal.

  • Certain regions are known worldwide for producing the highest-quality ingredients. When we source internationally, it is always intentional and quality-driven.

  • In-house processing allows us to maintain transparency, consistency, and quality — something that isn’t possible when products are outsourced or mass-produced overseas.

Feeding & Storage

  • Yes. Most Golden Nibbles treats are suitable for both dogs and cats unless clearly labeled otherwise. We always specify if an item is dog-only or cat-specific.

  • Freeze-dried treats should be stored in a cool, dry place with the bag sealed tightly after each use. Avoid heat, moisture, and humidity.

  • Unopened freeze-dried treats have a shelf life of up to two years. Once opened, they are best used within six months.

  • Yes. Freeze-dried treats can be fed dry or rehydrated with warm water. Some pets prefer the softer texture after rehydration.

  • Golden Nibbles treats can be fed as treats, toppers, or enrichment items. Portions vary based on your dog or cat’s size, age, and activity level.

  • No. Freeze-dried treats are shelf-stable and do not require refrigeration unless rehydrated.

  • Absolutely. If you’re unsure where to start, reach out to us. We’re happy to make recommendations based on your dog or cat’s age, size, preferences, and dietary needs.

  • That’s completely normal. Just like people, dogs and cats can be cautious with new flavors or proteins. If your pup or kitty isn’t immediately sold on a treat, don’t worry. Sometimes a little time, creativity, or a different feeding approach makes all the difference.

Shipping & Orders

  • Yes. We ship throughout the United States , including Hawaii and Puerto Rico by using USPS, UPS, or FedEx.

  • Orders typically ship within 3–5 business days if all items are in stock. If items need to be made, shipping may take 7–10 business days from the order date. We make everything in small batches to preserve quality.

  • Yes. Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with tracking details.

  • We strongly recommend adding shipping protection at checkout to keep your order covered in case of damage during transit. If your item arrives damaged and you’ve purchased shipping protection, please contact us at info@goldennibbles.com. within 48 hours of delivery and we’ll help you file a claim and make it right.

  • At this time, Golden Nibbles does not accept returns or exchanges. Because our products are food items made in small batches, all sales are final. That said, we want you to feel confident when shopping with us.

  • We understand that things happen. If you miss your pickup appointment or need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible to select a new pickup time or give us a heads up. Because pickups are scheduled by appointment to ensure someone is available, advance notice helps us coordinate and assist you more smoothly.
